Two sets of philanthropists will have reserve areas named in their honor after they donated $2 million to support the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conversancy's efforts to create a wildlife corridor in Rancho Palos Verdes. Rolling Hills residents Dorothy and Allen Lay, as well as Palos Verdes Estates' Jacqueline Glass, donated $1 million each to help preserve a 30-acre section of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve. The gifts will get the PVPLC closer to the $30 million goal it set for the 'Go Wild for the Peninsula' fundraising campaign.
